1Uniting Church and Kindergarten Hall, Orange
This Wesleyan Methodist congregation formed around 1860, with the church erected on Anson Street in 1863 and its landmark spire added in the 1870s. Now the Wesley Uniting Church and kindergarten hall, it was added to the NSW State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
2Orange Post Office
Designed by Colonial Architect James Barnet's office and built between 1877 and 1879, this Victorian Free Classical building brought Orange's postal and telegraph services under one roof, also housing the District Surveyor. Still an Australia Post office, it was added to the NSW State Heritage Register in 2000.
3Orange railway station, New South Wales
Opened in April 1877 when the line reached Orange from Blayney, this Victorian brick station was built in Flemish bond with cast-iron Corinthian columns and combined a stationmaster's residence with the station itself. Added to the NSW State Heritage Register in 1999, it is one of only four such buildings statewide.
4Bowen Terrace
Bowen Terrace is a row of twelve two-storey Victorian Italianate terraces at 3-25 Bathurst Road, Orange, built in 1876 for Henry Thomas Bowen and designed by architect John Hale. Featuring cast-iron balustrades, curved verandahs and French doors, it was restored around 1968-72 and listed on the NSW State Heritage Register in 1999.
5Cook Park, Orange
Proclaimed in 1873 and named in 1882, this four-hectare Victorian-era park was designed by Swedish-born surveyor-gardener Alfred Patterson on former swampy camping ground. It retains an 1908 octagonal bandstand, the 1891 James Dalton Memorial Fountain, the 1934 Blowes Conservatory and over 200 mature exotic trees. State Heritage listed in 2018.
6Berrilea
Built in 1902 for Mrs Robert Frost, wife of a prominent local brick-maker, Berrilea is an Edwardian home designed by architect J. J. Copeman. It features wide verandahs, cast-iron Corinthian columns and decorative lacework. Now part of Wontama Village nursing home, it joined the NSW State Heritage Register in 1999.
7Duntryleague
Built from the mid-1870s for wealthy Orange merchant James Dalton, this grand mansion was designed by architect Benjamin Backhouse in the Victorian Filigree style, notable for its ornate cast-iron detailing and fine stonework. Now home to the Orange Golf Club, it was added to the NSW State Heritage Register in 1999.
