Byron Bay railway station
Opened on 15 May 1894, this timber station follows the standard roadside design, with a signal box added in 1913 and a c.1894 water tower on Butler Street. Passenger rail ceased in 2004; it now serves as a NSW TrainLink booking and coach hub. State Heritage listed since 1999.

Byron Bay Post Office
Opened in March 1897, this post and telegraph office was designed by the NSW Government Architect's Office under Walter Vernon and built for £464. Enlarged in 1916 as the town grew, it blends late-Victorian and Federation styles. It was added to the Commonwealth Heritage List in 2012.

Cape Byron Lighthouse
An active, heritage-listed lighthouse at Cape Byron — the easternmost point of mainland Australia — designed by Charles Harding and Cecil W. Darley and built between 1899 and 1901 by Mitchell & King. Owned by NSW National Parks, it now also houses a maritime museum and interpretive centre.
